Legacy PLC & HMI parts inquiries

A familiar-looking controller is not enough. Start with the exact catalog number and revision before considering a replacement or repair route.

What to include

A programmable logic controller (PLC) runs machine logic. A human-machine interface (HMI) is the operator screen. When a system is older, identifying the installed hardware is the first useful step—not assuming a newer model will be a drop-in replacement. A replacement may also require application files, software access or configuration work.

  • Full manufacturer and catalog number, including every suffix
  • Hardware series or revision and firmware version, if known
  • Machine or panel model, supply voltage and connected modules
  • Quantity, preferred condition, destination country and needed-by date

Before a part is selected

Identify the complete unit

Copy the full label rather than only a family name. A catalog number, series and firmware version can distinguish units that otherwise look similar. If a label is unreadable, say so rather than guessing.

Separate repair from replacement

Describe whether the unit powers on, displays a fault or has physical damage. Ask a qualified technician to determine the repair scope. Do not send proprietary PLC programs or credentials in an initial inquiry.

Document acceptance criteria

State whether you will consider new, used or refurbished equipment. Before a purchase, require written condition details, traceability, a test scope, warranty and return terms. None is confirmed by this site.
